Mayawati Appeals for Pro-Bahujan Government in Lok Sabha Elections

## Mayawati Appeals for Pro-Bahujan Government in Upcoming Lok Sabha Elections

On the eve of the first phase of the Lok Sabha elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati urged voters to exercise their right to vote and elect a government that prioritizes the needs of the marginalized communities.

In a social media post, the former Uttar Pradesh chief minister emphasized the importance of voting as a means to empower the poor, weak, and neglected sections of society. She appealed to voters to use their "democratic power" to elect a "pro-Bahujan" government that will work for the betterment of the underprivileged.

Mayawati also cautioned voters against falling prey to divisive tactics or the misuse of money and government machinery. She urged them to ensure that their votes are not manipulated and that the elections are conducted fairly.

The first phase of the Lok Sabha elections will be held on Friday in eight constituencies of western Uttar Pradesh. The counting of votes for all seven phases of the elections will take place on June 4.
