## G Kishan Reddy Files Nomination for Lok Sabha Elections in Secunderabad

Union Minister and Telangana BJP Chief G Kishan Reddy filed his nomination for the Lok Sabha elections as the BJP candidate from the Secunderabad Lok Sabha constituency. He expressed confidence in the BJP's performance in the upcoming elections, predicting a double-digit win for the party in Telangana.

Reddy highlighted the party's campaign efforts, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi's rallies and door-to-door campaigns. He attributed the public's desire for Modi's re-election as a key factor in the BJP's anticipated success. He also dismissed the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi (BRS) as a serious contender, predicting they would lose all their deposits.

Regarding the Congress party, Reddy questioned their role and contribution to the election, noting their lack of a candidate for Prime Minister. He expressed no doubt that Modi would be sworn in as Prime Minister for a third term in June.

Addressing a video showing BJP candidate from Hyderabad, Madhavi Latha, allegedly pretending to shoot an arrow at a mosque during the Ram Navami yatra, Reddy downplayed the incident. He described it as a simple gesture in service of Lord Ram and urged people not to take it seriously or negatively. He emphasized the BJP's commitment to maintaining peace and fulfilling its responsibility as the ruling party.

Reddy concluded by reiterating his confidence in the BJP's victory in all phases of the polls. The Lok Sabha election in Telangana's 17 parliamentary constituencies will be held on May 17. In the previous 2019 general election, the TRS won 9 seats, the BJP secured 4, the INC obtained 3, and the AIMIM won 1.
