## Three Arrested in Connection with Firing Incident at Manipur School
On April 19, 2024, three individuals were arrested by Manipur Police in connection with a firing incident at Moirangkampu Primary School in Imphal, Manipur. The incident resulted in one person being injured.
The arrested individuals have been identified as Leichombam Jemson Singh (34), Nongthombam Ratan (47), and Khumukcham Angamba (32). During the arrest, police recovered live ammunition, three mobile phones, a car, and Rs. 1.5 lakhs in cash from the accused.
Manipur Police confirmed the arrests in a post on X, stating, "On 19.04.2024 Manipur Police arrested 3 (three) persons identified as i. Leichombam Jemson Singh (34 yrs), ii. Nongthombam Ratan (47 yrs) and iii. Khumukcham Angamba (32 yrs) in connection with a firing incident at Moirangkampu primary school in which one person was injured."
The police further detailed the recovered items, including a .32 pistol with eight live rounds, three mobile phones, a car, and Rs. 1.5 lakhs in cash.
The investigation into the firing incident is ongoing.
