Sashastra Seema Bal's Director General, Daljit Singh Chawdhary, engaged with a group of 20 student officers from the Armed Police Force of Nepal at the SSB headquarters in New Delhi during their educational visit to India. This interaction signifies the strong ties of friendship and cooperation that exist between India and Nepal, underlined by regular exchanges at various levels and a deep-rooted connection between the people of both countries.

The visit of the Director General of Assam Rifles to Nepal was part of an outreach program aiming to acknowledge the contributions of retired Assam Rifles veterans and address their welfare. This initiative included organizing ex-servicemen rallies in different Nepalese cities like Pokhara, Dharan, and Kathmandu, specifically dedicated to honoring Assam Rifles veterans and Veer Naris, the widows of soldiers.

Highlighted during the visit was the meeting between the Director General of Assam Rifles and the Nepal Army Chief General, where discussions focused on improving welfare and support systems for ex-servicemen in Nepal. Additionally, the Director General had a fruitful discussion with the Indian Ambassador to Nepal, emphasizing the ongoing collaboration and support for the ex-servicemen community and their families in the region.
