Development and Infrastructure in Rajasthan's Industrial Sector

The Rajasthan State Industrial Development and Investment Corporation (RIICO), which was established in the 1990s, has experienced significant progress over the last decade. This advancement can be attributed to the development of infrastructure that links the state with Delhi, a key aspect proudly highlighted by RIICO officials. Among its notable features is the 1,100-acre Japanese Zone within RIICO, specifically designated for Japanese companies like Honda Motors, showcasing the corporation's efforts to attract international investment and foster economic growth in the region.

A noteworthy segment enhancing connectivity in Rajasthan is the 242-km stretch of NH48, famously known as the Delhi-Jaipur Expressway. This eight-lane expressway provides a smooth travel experience, noted for its efficient navigation despite occasional disruptions caused by ongoing construction work and the presence of large freight vehicles. Along this expressway, travelers are greeted by numerous green RIICO signboards, indicating the way to different industrial clusters, while also being greeted by billboards from real estate developers, reflecting the interplay of industrial and commercial activities along this vital transportation route.
