T-Series Rumored to Return with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB RAM, and 50MP Camera

A Possible Return of the T-Series

OnePlus, the Chinese smartphone giant, might be bringing back its popular T-series smartphones this year. According to a report by Android Central, the company is planning to launch the OnePlus 12T later in 2023, after skipping the 2023 model. This phone could be launched as the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro in China and rebranded as the OnePlus 12T for other markets, including India.

This news comes after the company's first Ace Pro smartphone was launched globally as the OnePlus 10T in 2022. However, OnePlus decided not to launch the Ace 2 Pro in any other market besides China.

Processor: The phone will likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, the same chip found in the company's flagship OnePlus 12 smartphone.

It will be offered in configurations with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.

The OnePlus 12T is expected to feature a metal frame sandwiched between a curved display with 1.5K resolution and a glass back with a new coating process.

The phone will likely retain the 50MP primary camera from the OnePlus 12, but the telephoto lens will be limited to 2x optical zoom compared to the 3x zoom on the OnePlus 12.

The OnePlus 12T is expected to get a significant battery size increase compared to the previous generation OnePlus Ace 2 Pro.
