## BJP President Attacks Shashi Tharoor in Kerala

Tharoor was seemingly referring to the central government's program to open bank accounts for the poor, contrasting it with the BJP's attempt to gain a foothold in Kerala's Lok Sabha, where it has never won a seat.
Nadda countered Tharoor's statement by highlighting the BJP government's efforts to open bank accounts for the underprivileged. He accused the Congress of neglecting the poor and prioritizing "vote banks and bank accounts of one dynasty." Nadda asserted that the people of Kerala would reject such "disconnected elements."
The BJP has fielded Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar against Tharoor in the Thiruvananthapuram constituency, a high-profile seat that Tharoor has held for three consecutive terms. The upcoming election promises a fierce battle between the two political heavyweights.
