Kejriwal Alleges Insulin Denial in Jail, AAP Cries Foul, Court Orders Medical Examination

## Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal Claims He Was Denied Insulin in Jail

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, currently lodged in Tihar jail, has accused the jail administration of denying him insulin despite his repeated requests. Kejriwal, who suffers from diabetes, claims that his blood sugar levels have been dangerously high since his incarceration on April 1st.

In a letter to the Tihar jail superintendent, Kejriwal refutes the jail administration's statement that he never raised the issue of insulin with doctors. He states that he has consistently brought up the issue for the past ten days, showing doctors his high sugar readings. He also claims that the AIIMS doctors never assured him that his sugar levels were not a serious concern, as stated by the jail administration.

Kejriwal's claims have sparked outrage from his party, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which has accused the jail administration of deliberately denying him essential medication and plotting to harm him. The AAP has demanded an independent inquiry into the matter.

Meanwhile, a Delhi court has directed the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) to constitute a medical board to examine Kejriwal and determine whether he needs insulin. The court's order came after Kejriwal's plea for a video consultation with his doctor was denied.

The situation surrounding Kejriwal's health and treatment in jail remains tense, with both sides making conflicting claims. The medical board's examination and subsequent report are expected to shed light on the matter and determine the appropriate course of action.
