Delhi BJP Protests Congress, Accuses Gandhi of Divisive Politics and Manifesto Insulting Culture

The Delhi BJP staged a protest near the Congress party headquarters on Wednesday, accusing Rahul Gandhi of engaging in politics aimed at disintegrating India.

The BJP also criticized the Congress manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls, calling it an "insult" to the country's culture.

In the lead-up to the Lok Sabha elections, the BJP, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has launched a scathing attack on the Congress, alleging that its manifesto reeks of appeasement and that if it came to power, it would redistribute people's wealth and also provide reservations to Muslims from the quotas for SC, ST, and OBC communities.

Senior BJP leaders, including national general secretary Tarun Chugh, Delhi state president Virendra Sachdeva, and Delhi BJP Mahila Morcha president Richa Pandey, participated in the protest.

Chugh claimed that the Congress manifesto "conspired" to "snatch away" property and jewelry from women and give it to minorities.

He alleged that the Congress manifesto was an "insult" to the country's culture and that Gandhi was engaging in politics aimed at disintegrating India.

"The manifesto of Congress is full of appeasement and it will weaken the country," Sachdeva said.
