Amit Shah Accuses TMC of Enabling Infiltration, Appeals for BJP Support in Malda South

Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Amit Shah alleged that infiltration was rampant in West Bengal under the TMC regime. Addressing a roadshow in the Malda South constituency, Shah criticized Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. He claimed that under TMC rule, infiltration continued unchecked and Banerjee opposed the CAA, preventing refugees from gaining citizenship. He urged the people to vote for BJP to stop infiltration and corruption.

The roadshow commenced around 1 pm, starting from Head Post office More and ending at the Rabindra statue. Shah, along with state BJP leaders, stood atop a decorated vehicle and waved to the crowd. BJP supporters gathered on both sides of the road, chanting slogans in praise of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shah. The Malda South constituency will participate in the third phase of elections on May 7th.
