Godrej Electricals & Electronics has secured orders worth over Rs 1,000 crore in the power and infrastructure business in the financial year 2023-24. These orders include Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) and Gas Insulated Switchgear (GIS) substations across India, with some projects having a capacity of up to 765kV.
The company is delighted with the recent order acquisitions, which solidify its presence in the segment of over 400kV. Securing the inaugural 765kV GIS order for execution at Khavda, Gujarat marks a significant milestone for the company, demonstrating its commitment to pushing the boundaries of technological advancement.
The majority of the orders secured in FY 2023-24 pertain to renewable energy evacuation, underscoring the company's industry leadership and resonating with the country's commitment to a greener and more resilient future. These substations play a crucial role in augmenting the capacity of the existing grid infrastructure, facilitating seamless integration and evacuation of renewable energy sources.
