Landslide in Arunachal Pradesh, Affidavit Against Arvind Kejriwal, and Shooting in Bihar

Arunachal Pradesh's Dibang valley found itself cut off from the rest of the country after the sole road linking it got destroyed by a landslide, disrupting the connectivity of the region. This incident left the valley isolated, affecting the movement of people and supplies to and from the area, highlighting the vulnerability of infrastructure in hilly regions.

The Enforcement Directorate made a significant move in the case involving Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, alleging in an affidavit filed in the Supreme Court that Kejriwal had tampered with evidence, including the destruction of approximately 170 mobile phones during the period of the alleged money laundering scam related to the liquor policy case. The affidavit highlighted that Kejriwal's arrest was a result of his non-compliance with summonses and failure to secure an order of no-coercive steps from the Division Bench of the Delhi High Court, ultimately leading to a search of his residence and subsequent arrest.

In a tragic event in Bihar's capital Patna, a youth leader from Nitish Kumar's Janata Dal-United party, Saurabh Kumar, was fatally shot while returning from a wedding function, with another individual, Munmum Kumar, sustaining injuries in the shooting incident that occurred in Parsa Bazar village. The assailants, reportedly four men on motorcycles, targeted Saurabh, shooting him twice in the head, with his companion Munmum also getting hit multiple times. The aftermath of the shooting saw Saurabh being declared dead upon arrival at the hospital, while Munmum had to be admitted in a serious condition, marking a tragic incident in the region.
