YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Attacks Naidu, Kalyan, Releases YSRCP Manifesto

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy Launches Scathing Attack on Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a scathing attack against Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan, comparing them to "frogs" seeking votes with fraudulent promises. He accused them of being "non-local leaders" who will leave for Hyderabad after the elections, similar to the New East India Company members who looted the state.

Reddy made these remarks during the launch of the YSR Congress Party's (YSRCP) poll manifesto at the Tadepalli camp office in Vijayawada. The manifesto, titled "Navaratnalu Plus," builds upon the promises made in the 2019 manifesto.

Reddy promised to gradually increase welfare pensions from Rs 3,000 to Rs 3,500 per month and govern the state from Visakhapatnam. He also highlighted the YSRCP's landslide victory in the 2019 elections, where they won 151 of the 175 Assembly seats, dethroning the TDP government.

In the 2019 general elections, the YSRCP won 22 of the 25 Lok Sabha seats with a vote share of 49.89%. The TDP managed only three constituencies and 40.19% votes. The BJP and Congress failed to win any seats in the state.

For the upcoming elections, the YSRCP is contesting alone in all 25 parliamentary constituencies and the 175 Assembly seats. They face the Congress-led INDIA bloc and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), comprising the BJP, TDP, and Jana Sena Party (JSP).
