No Negotiations with PP-DB Leaders, Openness to Other Coalition Partners

Following the recent elections, GERB leader Boyko Borissov has declared that his party will not engage in government negotiations with the co-chairs of "We Continue the Change" (PP), Kiril Petkov and Asen Vassilev, nor with former Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov. However, he expressed openness to collaborating with some of the parties within the PP-DB coalition.

Borissov specifically singled out "Democratic Bulgaria" as a potential partner, citing their "reasonable" behavior. He emphasized that any collaboration would occur on GERB's terms, with GERB holding the reins of power and appointing its own prime ministers and ministers.

Regarding the DPS party, Borissov acknowledged the possibility of "normal talks" but did not definitively confirm whether GERB would consider forming an independent government after the early vote.

Meanwhile, Kiril Petkov of PP expressed regret over his party's decision to enter into a joint government with GERB-SDS, calling it a "big mistake.
