BJP MP Nishikant Dubey Lauds PM Modi's Efforts in Trikoot Ropeway Rescue Operation
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Nishikant Dubey has lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his personal involvement in the rescue operation following the Trikoot ropeway accident in Godda, Jharkhand. Dubey's Lok Sabha constituency encompasses the site of the accident.
In a post on social media, Dubey stated that the Prime Minister personally monitored the operation to ensure the safety of all individuals trapped in the cable car mishap. He further highlighted the successful rescue of all passengers, many of whom had never witnessed a helicopter before.
Dubey, a three-term MP from Godda, has been re-nominated by his party for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. In the 2019 elections, he secured a comfortable victory over his opponent, Pradeep Yadav of the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik), with a margin exceeding 1.84 lakh votes.
