BJP's Bommai Warns of "Revolution" if Congress Implements Inheritance Tax

Former Chief Minister Warns of Inheritance Tax Under Congress Rule

Basavaraj Bommai, former chief minister and BJP candidate for the Gadag-Haveri Lok Sabha constituency, has warned voters of a potential "revolution" if the Congress party comes to power. He specifically cited the party's proposed inheritance tax law, claiming it would impose a 55% tax on inherited assets and create significant hardship for citizens.

Bommai made these remarks during a series of campaign events in the Hirekerur Assembly constituency. He also highlighted the BJP government's achievements in implementing irrigation schemes and providing essential services like vaccines and water to the population. He urged voters to support the BJP and Prime Minister Modi, who he credited with these accomplishments.

Bommai further praised former minister BC Patil for his contributions to the development of Hirekerur taluk and expressed confidence in Patil's re-election in the upcoming Assembly polls. He emphasized the importance of voting for the BJP in both the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections to ensure continued progress and stability.

The Lok Sabha elections are currently underway in India, with the third phase scheduled for May 7th. The final results will be announced on June 4th.
