Janasena founder and actor Pawan Kalyan emphasized the importance of trust and patience in politics, comparing it to a long journey rather than a quick fix. He urged voters to carefully consider their choices in the upcoming Andhra Pradesh elections, highlighting the alleged failures of the YSR Congress party.
Kalyan acknowledged the NDA's vision for Andhra Pradesh, praising its leadership and experience. He contrasted this with the YSR Congress, accusing Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy of damaging the state during his tenure.
He addressed the issue of "Special Category Status" for Andhra Pradesh, stating that it has evolved into a different form. Regarding the Congress party, he expressed personal admiration for Rahul Gandhi but criticized the party's past mistakes concerning Andhra Pradesh.
Kalyan emphasized his positive relationship with the BJP, stating that he will utilize it for the state's benefit. He urged voters to choose wisely, reminding them of the consequences of a wrong decision.
The NDA partners have agreed on a seat-sharing arrangement, with the TDP contesting 144 Assembly and 17 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP contesting 6 Lok Sabha and 10 Assembly seats, and Janasena contesting 2 Lok Sabha and 21 Assembly seats.
The elections for the 175-member Andhra Pradesh Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha seats are scheduled for May 13th.
