Yatharth Hospitals Reports Strong Q4 FY24 Results

Yatharth Hospitals and Trauma Care Services Limited, a leading healthcare provider in India, reported a strong performance in the fourth quarter of FY24. The company's revenue from operations rose to Rs 1,778 crore, a 24% increase year-on-year (YoY) from Rs 1,438 crore in Q3 FY24.

On a sequential basis, the company exhibited a 30% increase in net profits, while revenue grew by 7%. This growth can be attributed to several factors, including a diversified case mix, the integration of robotic surgeries, and the expansion of organ transplant programs.

The company reported a 6% YoY increase in its average revenue per occupied bed (Arpob) at Rs 29,266 in Q4 FY24. Bed occupancy also rose to 57% from 49% in the same period last year. The rise in Arpob can be attributed to the addition of three Da Vinci surgical robots, which has allowed the hospital to perform more complex surgeries.

Commenting on the performance, Yatharth Tyagi, whole-time director of Yatharth Hospitals, said that the year has been transformative for the company as it solidified its position as a premium super-specialty institution. He also highlighted the expansion of the organ transplant program, with international patients in liver transplants, and the inauguration of a state-of-the-art radiation oncology department.

The company also announced the commencement of operations at their newly acquired hospital in Faridabad, strengthening its presence in the Delhi NCR market. This acquisition aligns with the company's strategy of expanding its footprint in the North India region.

On Thursday, Yatharth Hospitals and Trauma Care Services' stocks were up by 0.52%, ending the day's trade at Rs 442 apiece on the BSE.
