Poonawalla Accuses Kejriwal of Silence in Swati Maliwal Assault Case, Demands Justice

BJP Leader Poonawalla Attacks Kejriwal Over Alleged Assault of Swati Maliwal

BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla has launched a scathing attack against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal over the alleged assault of Swati Maliwal. He called the incident "shameful" and demanded that Kejriwal break his silence on the issue.

Poonawalla pointed out that it has been ten days since Swati Maliwal, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, was allegedly beaten up by Kejriwal's personal secretary Bibhav Kumar at the CM residence. He highlighted that Sanjay Singh, another AAP leader, has confirmed the incident.

"Why is Arvind Kejriwal silent on the matter? Does it mean that Kejriwal ordered to beat Swati Maliwal? Is it true that Bibhav Kumar has secrets of Kejriwal?" questioned Poonawalla.

He further criticized the AAP's U-turn on the issue and the alleged tampering of CCTV footage. He pointed out that Bibhav Kumar was arrested at the scene of the crime and is currently in police custody.

"The party which originated from the protest against Nirbhaya's assault is today standing with Bibhav Kumar," said Poonawalla, highlighting the irony of the situation.

He concluded by stating that there is corruption behind Kejriwal's silence and demanded that he speak the truth. He called the incident "shameful" and demanded justice for Swati Maliwal.

In a separate interview with ANI, Swati Maliwal asserted that Bibhav Kumar is a very "influential and powerful man" in the AAP. She called him the "raazdaar" (secret keeper) of Arvind Kejriwal and alleged that he is not an ordinary personal assistant.

"He has been given a luxurious house, even no minister has got such a house in Delhi," said Maliwal, highlighting Kumar's influence within the party.

She further claimed that the entire party is afraid of Kumar and that there is a message within the party that "if Bibhav gets angry with you, then you are finished in the party."

These allegations against Kejriwal and his party have sparked outrage and calls for a thorough investigation into the incident.
