Religious and Cultural Organizations to Meet During Maha Kumbh 2025

The National General Secretary of Akhil Bhartiya Sant Samiti, Swami Jitendranaad Saraswati, announced that various religious and cultural organizations will convene during the Maha Kumbh 2025 to discuss the formation of a Sanatan Board and develop a strategic roadmap for the Hindu community.

While acknowledging the existence of a Waqf board, Swami Jitendranaad Saraswati firmly opposes the creation of a similar Sanatan Board. He advocates for independent trusts for all temples, with each trust including one woman and one Dalit member from the local region.

The General Secretary also demands that the Waqf board return its 9 lakh hectares of land to the government. He believes this land should be utilized for the benefit of the entire nation.

The upcoming meeting aims to create a comprehensive roadmap for the advancement of the Hindu community. Representatives from Vishwa Hindu Council, Sangh, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Committee, Akharas, and Kashi Vidwat Parishad will participate in this crucial discussion. The roadmap will address the needs of the Hindu community across 129 countries worldwide.

Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati announced the organization of a 'Param Dharma Sansad' during the Mahakumbh. This gathering of religious leaders, intellectuals, and pilgrims will address the issues faced by Hindus and provide guidance. Additionally, a month-long program of penance will be held against cow slaughter. This program will include Gau Pratishtha Mahayagna and other initiatives aimed at stopping cow slaughter and promoting respect for cows.
