Authorities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have enforced a curfew in Tank and South Waziristan districts from 6:00am to 6:00pm to address security issues, with residents advised to choose alternate routes and cooperate with security forces. A partial curfew is also in effect in Dera Ismail Khan, with specific roads in South Waziristan closed and exceptions made on certain highways to ensure public safety and property protection.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to retrieve Katchatheevu Island from Sri Lanka to protect the traditional fishing rights of Indian fishermen.
