The Central Election Commission has received the final recalculated data from the Information Service for the last parliamentary elections and will announce its decision on the case at a meeting at 2 pm. The recount of the October 27 parliamentary election results has led to accusations of obstructing the process and undermining the institutions.

The Bulgarian Parliament has adopted a statement calling on the Constitutional Court to release all documents related to the disputed October 2024 elections, following a hearing that revealed missing ballots and uncounted votes. The statement was approved with 128 votes in favor, with opposition parties voting against and one party calling for the court's dissolution.

The Velichye party held a protest rally in Sofia on March 11th, expressing dissatisfaction with the election results and their exclusion from parliament. The European Court of Human Rights has rejected a complaint from the Orthodox Christian Church and Others against Bulgaria, finding that the refusal to register the church did not violate its religious freedom or freedom of association. The court noted that the name of the church was too similar to the Bulgarian Orthodox Church and could cause confusion among believers.

The Central Election Commission approved the recalculation of the October 2024 parliamentary election results, with two dissenting votes citing concerns about changes to the 4% threshold and parliament composition. The CEC received recount results from 2,204 polling stations, with the final results expected soon.
