The Indian Parliament's upper and lower houses, Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha, adjourned on Friday and will reconvene on April 1st. The Lok Sabha passed the Carriage of Goods by Sea Bill, 2024, which modernizes regulations for maritime cargo transportation and replaces the century-old Indian Carriage of Goods by Sea Act, 1925.
