Afghan Taliban: ISIS attacks 'not in anyone's interests'

Doha, Oct. 11 Reuters - According to acting Foreign Minister Amir Khan Muttaqi on Monday, the new Taliban government in Afghanistan is able to control the threat from Islamic State militants who are leading a series of deadly attacks over recent weeks.

Speaking at an event in Afghanistan, he said that instability in Doha was not in anyone’s interests and called for cooperation from the world community, saying Afghanistan would not be a base for attack on other countries.
