The spate of attacks has prompted the Met Police to release CCTV images of a man they wish to talk to in connection with the incident. The first incident reported to police on 24 August at 11.05 am at Tower Hamlets in Upper North Street on 30th August. The following day, three more incidents were reported to police between 10.20 and 11.45 pm. This was then followed by an incident on September 2 at approximately 6.45 a.m. in Navigation Road. The suspect was seen wearing a black zip hoody, an opaque grey pair of jeans with a thick black stripe from hip to knee. He also had a bike lock found around his neck and a chequered baseball cap.
Police said the suspect is also known to wear a mask while committing the offences. The bike which he has been described as black is described as silver and black. Following the attacks, police have increased patrols in the local area and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
