Florida AG urges FBI, Garland to be transparent with Americans

After Monday's FBI raid in Mar-a-Lago, Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody called for FBI director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland to be transparent with the American people. Moody emphasized the unusual raid on former President Trump's Palm Beach home on Tuesday and called for answers to many Americans' questions on Mornings with Maria.

ASHLEY MOODY: Of course, you have federal cases and state cases. As a former federal prosecutor, what is uncommon is a case of dozens of FBI agents being seized over what we hear is a document dispute. That is not common in these types of investigations. I'm urging for the sake of the integrity of our law enforcement institutions that Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray come out very soon and start being transparent with Americans. Why was this supposed to be done in a raid fashion instead of a subpoena? Why can't a search warrant be issued? These are very important issues and I think this needs to be done immediately.
