Lock Martin seeks new chief executive after Kenneth Possenriede resigns

- The security and aerospace company Lockheed Martin Corp said on Tuesday that it is looking to hire a new chief executive after Kenneth Possenriede resigned from the post due to personal reasons.

The company says it has appointed Vice President and Treasurer John Mollard to act as acting CFO, effective immediately.

Mollard held several positions within the finance and business operations during his nearly four-decade stint at Lockheed Martin, the company said in its statement.

The surprise departure of Lockheed Martin, who joined the company in February 2019, comes ahead of Possenriede's virtual investor event scheduled on August 5.
