Spain’s largest telecoms company accepts Bitcoin payments in its online store

The largest telecommunications company in Spain accepts payments in cryptocurrencies in its online store. The new payment method will be offered through its marketplace Tu.com, where users can buy a range of products, such as phones and Xiaomi TV sets.

Customers must meet a minimum purchase price between $200 and $500 in order to make a transaction using the payment method.

The company will offer support for Bitcoin, Litecoin,Bitcoin, Cash, Ripple, Tether USD TRC 20 token, USD coin, and TRON.

The company automatically converts the coin into euros for merchants to ease the adoption and prevent technical problems.

Spanish airline Vueling will be scheduling Bitcoin acceptance next year, with soccer team RCD Espanyol accepting payments, and Spanish airline Vueling is a partner with BitPay, which is a growing in popularity in Spain.

In Spain, around 1.1 million people have adopted cryptocurrencies, according to the research company TripleA.
