Taco Bell offers free breakfast burrito to customers

Over the past year and a half, many restaurant chains have eliminated their breakfast menus or completely scaled back. Now that things are beginning to go back to normal, one fast-food restaurant is hoping to remind its customers to wake up for breakfast.

On October 21 Taco Bell is giving its fans a free burrito as a wake-up call in their family. According to a press release, the company wants to make sure that nobody sleeping on its breakfast menu. The participating places will have free burritos on 21 October to be available from 7-11 a.m. at participating stores in October.

The company is also offering fans the option to sign up for a free wake-up call the next day to make sure they don't oversleep. During the pandemic, however, locations across the country were forced to close their dining rooms and reduce their menus. This meant that some locations were completely eliminated or even reduced in breakfast offerings.

From mid September, Fox Business had reported that Taco Bell brought breakfast back to 90% of its locations. Fans of the breakfast option can head to the restaurant chain s website to find out which sites near them offer breakfast.

Several new items were added to the menu last month, including three new breakfast burrito options including a new Breakfast Burrito with Eggs, nacho cheese and sausage as well as the Hash Brown Toasted Breakfast Burrito, which adds a hash brown to the eggs, cheese and sausage.
