Vivo V 23 launched in India, V 23 smartphones

New Delhi, India January 5, ANI The much anticipated Vivo's V 23 series was launched in India on Wednesday with its V 23 Pro and V 23 smartphones.

The highlight of both phones is their design and selfie cameras, both of which combine metal with glass, but the V 23 has flat sides, while the Pro has a dual-curved design.

Both phones use Fluorite AG Glass, which is said to provide a soft, matte finish to the surface of the glass. The V 23 phones in Stardust Black or the special Sunshine Gold can change their colour when exposed to direct sunlight for up to 5 to 6 minutes.

Vivo V 23 Pro has 3 D curved front and back glass and a thinner frame. It is a faster phone, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 1200 with 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. It comes with 128 GB or 256 GB of storage.

The display is a larger 6.56 inch 1080 p AMOLED, running at 90 Hz. The battery has a 4,300 mAh capacity and support for up to 44 W charging.

There are five cameras on the Vivo V 23 Pro - a 50 MP wide camera with eye autofocus support and an 8 MP ultrawide camera on the front. On the rear is a triple setup with a 108 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro units.

The Vivo V 23 has a smaller 6.44 inch 1080 p 90 Hz AMOLED display and a slightly smaller 4,200 mAh battery - once again with 44 W charging.

The chip of choice is the MediaTek Dimensity 920, while the RAM and storage options are the same as 8 128 GB and 12 256 GB.

The V 23 cameras are almost identical to the Pro except for the main rear camera, which has a 50 MP sensor instead of a 108 MP sensor.

The Vivo V 23 is priced at INR 29,990 for its base 8 GB 128 GB configuration and INR 34,990 for the 12 GB 256 GB version.
