Sarajevo Canton Minister of Education Naida Hota-Muminovi attended a meeting with the head of the European Union Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the EU s Special Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ambassador Johann Sattler.
Ambassador Sattler congratulated Minister Hota-Muminovi on her efforts to reform educational curricula in Sarajevo Canton. He underlined that curricular reform is an important step towards the modernization of education and raising the quality of educational standards.
They also talked about the fact that Sarajevo Canton opened its schools for migrant children, where these children were able to continue their education, including the resources provided by the European Union.
In international circles, Bosnia and Herzegovina must become one of the priorities of public office holders, and it will depend on our willingness to approach the quality standards that exist in the European Union. Minister Hota-Muminovi said that we will achieve this through dedicated work and constant efforts on the way to fulfilling the EU directives, so that we are ready for the candidate status.
