On Thursday, January 26th, the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko avara, issued a decision on the appointment of a judge of the Constitutional Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and submitted it to the vice-presidents of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for approval.
Boris Barun of the Croat people was appointed a judge in accordance with the Constitution of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Opinion of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina on candidates for the position of judge of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Office of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Office of the President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The president of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko avara, appoints judges of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the consent of the Vice-President of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina within 30 days of the day when the High and Judicial Prosecutor s Council submits the proposal of candidates for judges of the Constitutional Court of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the Vice-Presidents of the Federation of BiH give their consent, the President of the Federation of BiH sends the decision to the House of Peoples of the Parliament of the Federation of BiH for confirmation.
