Serbia's President fears there won't be peace yet on Ukraine

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, said he fears that there won't be peace yet when he talks about the war in Ukraine.

After meeting with Italian Minister Antonio Tajani, he addressed the journalists, saying that the war in Ukraine is a difficult position for Serbia at this moment.

Satisfied that we kept the peace, said Vucic.

He said that in the Italian press, after the beginning of the war in Ukraine on February 24th, one could read dozens of articles in which it was said that Serbia is trying to protect itself despite the fact that it was only a matter of time before Bosnia and Herzegovina BiH. It is clear to everyone that that those were untruths and that Serbia is trying to protect itself.

He said he would like the war in Ukraine to stop right now.

Serbia has never used tricks, unlike all of them. What I told them in Brussels, Belgrade, has not changed at all. It is legally binding when I sign or verbally agree to it. Serbia will work on implementing everything. Kosovo's membership in the UN is not considered, and there will be no recognition. Without tensions Serbia will implement the rest, which means a normal relationship between Serbia and Albanians, and we will see if someone else will implement it, said Vucic, Klix.ba.
