AIADMK General Secretary Criticizes DMK at Election Event in Madurai

The general secretary of AIADMK, Edappadi K Palaniswami, lashed out at the DMK during an election event in Madurai, accusing them of having no intention of benefiting the people who voted for them. He criticized the DMK for allegedly wanting to hold power both at the national and state level to exploit the situation for their own gain, rather than serving the people's interests.

Palaniswami sought votes for AIADMK's candidate, Saravanan, from the Madurai Lok Sabha constituency and urged the people to support their party by voting for him on the double leaf symbol. He highlighted the achievements of AIADMK in bringing the AIIMS Hospital to Madurai during their governance, contrasting it with the lack of action by DMK's elected MPs in Parliament. Palaniswami emphasized the importance of reclaiming Tamil Nadu's rights by ensuring AIADMK's victory in the upcoming elections.

Palaniswami also criticized DMK leader Stalin, accusing him of trying to tarnish AIADMK's image by filing false cases against their leaders. He highlighted the legacy of AIADMK's governance as the golden age rule in Tamil Nadu, contrasting with DMK's alleged lack of policy and willingness to do anything for power. The upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu on April 19 will see voting on all 39 seats, with AIADMK and DMK competing for victory in the state.
