From Blindness to MIT, Bollant Industries, and a Biopic - A Story of Triumph Over Adversity

Srikanth Bolla, born blind to a rice farmer family in Andhra Pradesh, faced adversity from the very beginning. Despite being told he would be of "no use," Bolla defied expectations and went on to study business management science at MIT in the US, becoming the first international blind student with 100% financial aid.

Bolla's journey is an inspiration to many. He overcame numerous obstacles, including a state law that prevented blind students from studying science and math. He challenged this law and won, paving the way for other blind students in Andhra Pradesh.

Bolla's success story doesn't end there. He founded Bollant Industries, an eco-friendly packaging company that employs differently-abled people. His company has four production plants and has earned him recognition as a World Economic Forum Young Global Leader.

Bolla's life is a testament to his determination and resilience. He is living proof that anything is possible with hard work and a positive attitude. His story is being chronicled in a biopic starring Rajkummar Rao, set to release on May 10th.
