The party's decision to nominate Mukesh Dhangar from Mathura to challenge sitting BJP MP Hema Malini and to replace Nakul Dubey with Rakesh Rathore in Sitapur showcases the party's strategic moves ahead of the polls.

The inclusion of prominent Congress leaders from Uttar Pradesh such as Avinash Pandey, Ajay Rai, Pramod Tiwari, Aradhana Mishra Mona, Salman Khurshid, Rajiv Shukla, Brijlal Khabri, Ajay Kumar Lallu, Raj Babbar, and Nirmal Khatri underscores the party's focused approach towards the elections. Joining the campaign efforts are leaders from other states like Himachal Pradesh CM Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, Karnataka deputy CM DK Shivakumar, Telangana CM A Revanth Reddy, and former Lok Sabha speaker Meira Kumar, signaling a united front of Congress campaigners aiming to secure victory in the state's 80 Lok Sabha seats.
