## Amit Shah Embarks on Roadshow in Gandhinagar Lok Sabha Constituency

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate for the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency, embarked on a roadshow in Sanand town on Thursday morning. Shah, standing on a specially-designed vehicle, greeted the large crowds of people and BJP workers who had gathered along the route from APMC Chowk to Nalsarovar Chowk.

Prior to the roadshow, Shah took to social media to appeal to the voters of Gandhinagar. He urged them to vote for the BJP and support Prime Minister Narendra Modi, so that he could lead the country to the top position in every sector and make Gandhinagar one of the most developed Lok Sabha constituencies in the country.

This roadshow was one of three planned for Shah in the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency on Thursday. Later in the day, he addressed a rally in Vejalpur area of Ahmedabad.

Shah's roadshow in Sanand was followed by another in Kalol town of Gandhinagar district. He then held a third roadshow in Ahmedabad city, covering areas under Sabarmati, Ghatlodia, Naranpura, and Vejalpur assembly segments, all part of the Gandhinagar Lok Sabha seat.

Gandhinagar North, Kalol, Sanand, Ghatlodia, Vejalpur, Naranpura, and Sabarmati. All these assembly seats are currently held by the BJP.

In the 2019 elections, Shah won the Gandhinagar seat by a margin of over 5 lakh votes. Previously, the seat was represented by BJP veteran and former Deputy Prime Minister L K Advani.

The opposition Congress has fielded party secretary Sonal Patel to challenge Shah in Gandhinagar.

Voting for all 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat will take place in a single phase on May 7.
