National Pavilion UAE at Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition Opens

The National Pavilion UAE at the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition is now welcoming visitors to explore Abdullah Al Saadi's artistic worlds in an exhibition titled "Sites of Memory, Sites of Amnesia." This enchanting exhibition curated by Tarek Abou El Fetouh unfolds like a story with multiple chapters, showcasing eight works by Al Saadi that have been produced during his journeys in nature.

With 87 national participants from around the world, the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition is witnessing broad international participation, making it a significant platform for artists to exhibit their works. The National Pavilion of the United Arab Emirates is highlighting the extension of Emirati art roots into Arab history through Abdullah Al Saadi's artistic practices, offering visitors a glimpse into the artist's creative exploration of nature through hundreds of artistic pieces displayed at the exhibition.

Tarek Abou El Fetouh, the artistic curator, expressed his expectations for the exhibition, stating that he believes it will attract attention and inspire visitors to reflect on the sources of inspiration for Arabs to use language innovatively. He hopes that the exhibition will also evoke the practices of poetry writing from the depths of authentic Arab history, providing a unique and engaging experience for all attendees at the Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition.
