## K.P. Energy Secures 9MW Wind Power Project in Gujarat
K.P. Energy, a Gujarat-based company, has secured a new order for the development of a 9MW wind power project. This project will be part of a larger wind-solar hybrid power project in Gujarat. The order was received from Bhathwari Technologies Private Limited under the Captive Power Project segment.
The project will be connected to the State Transmission Utility (STU) network and will include both supply and service for development on a turnkey basis. It is expected to be completed in the financial year 2024-25 (FY25).
This new project comes as K.P. Energy has seen significant growth in recent years. The company's consolidated profit zoomed 60% to Rs 24.89 crore during the quarter ended March 2024, compared to Rs 15.48 crore in the same quarter a year ago. For the full year FY24, the company's net profit stood at Rs 58.32 crore, up from Rs 43.90 crore in FY23.
K.P. Energy's market capitalization is currently Rs 2,733.29 crore, according to BSE. The share's 52-week high is Rs 465 per share, while its 52-week low is Rs 58.61 per share.
