A Multitude of Preparations and Expectations

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is gearing up for a grand roadshow featuring Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ghaziabad, targeting the 13 Lok Sabha seats in western Uttar Pradesh. The event is anticipated to draw a massive crowd of nearly 2 lakh enthusiastic attendees.

Prime Minister Modi's helicopter is scheduled to land at the police lines around 5 pm, followed by a direct journey to Malliwara Chowk. The 1-kilometer roadshow to Chaudhary Mod is slated to commence between 5:30 and 6 pm.

Extensive preparations are underway to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for the attendees. Ambedkar Road is receiving a fresh coat of paint on its central verges, and the Ghaziabad police are meticulously planning multilayered security arrangements.

Approximately 6,000 personnel will be deployed to enforce stringent security checks. Elaborate traffic diversions will be implemented from noon until the roadshow concludes.

This roadshow holds immense significance for the BJP, not only in Ghaziabad but also in neighboring districts of western Uttar Pradesh, which are scheduled for polls in the initial three phases of the Lok Sabha elections. It marks the second major rally in the Ghaziabad constituency by the BJP since the nomination process began.

The BJP has nominated sitting MLA Atul Garg as its candidate from Ghaziabad, replacing sitting MP and Union Minister VK Singh.

Demonstrating an early and vigorous campaign strategy, the BJP has already brought prominent figures like Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Union Defence Minister Rajnath Singh to Ghaziabad to bolster support through meetings and rallies.
