Rajnath Slams Opposition, Backs India's Economic Rise

Senior BJP Leader Rajnath Singh Attacks Opposition Parties

Senior BJP leader and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh launched a scathing attack on the opposition parties, Congress and AAP, accusing them of contributing to the crisis of credibility in Indian politics. He made these remarks during an election meeting in support of BJP's West Delhi Lok Sabha candidate, Kamaljeet Sehrawat.

Singh targeted both Congress and AAP, who are contesting the general elections in Delhi under a seat-sharing arrangement. He claimed that their leaders have significantly contributed to the erosion of trust in Indian politics.

He further criticized Delhi Chief Minister and AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal for continuing in his post despite being arrested and jailed in connection with a money laundering case. Singh also condemned the alleged assault on AAP Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal, calling it a "heart-rending" incident. He criticized Kejriwal for his delayed response and accused him of cowardice.

Singh urged the voters to reject parties like AAP, stating that they have no moral right to remain in politics. He contrasted their actions with the BJP's commitment to its promises, citing the scrapping of Article 370, the removal of triple talaq, and the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya as examples.

He expressed confidence in India's economic growth and its potential to become the world's richest economy by 2070. He also emphasized India's aspiration to become a superpower, not for aggression, but for the betterment of the world.
