Global Leaders Extend Wishes to India on Its 78th Independence Day

As India marked its 78th Independence Day, leaders from various countries conveyed their well wishes and expressed their commitment to building stronger relationships with New Delhi. French President Emmanuel Macron, in a message on social media, congratulated the Indian people on their Independence Day and expressed his eagerness to collaborate with Prime Minister Narendra Modi to achieve the ambitious goals set for the strategic partnership between France and India.

Russian President Vladimir Putin highlighted the accomplishments of India over the 77 years of independence and reiterated Russia's commitment to further develop the strategic partnership with New Delhi. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni emphasized the importance of the India-Italy strategic partnership and expressed confidence in achieving significant milestones together. Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau acknowledged the vibrant Indian diaspora in Canada and underlined the contributions they have made to shaping the country, emphasizing the strong bond between Canada and India.
