Prime Minister Modi Joins Truth Social
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has joined Truth Social, the social media platform owned by Trump Media and Technology Group. His arrival on the platform coincided with US President Donald Trump sharing Modi's recent podcast with Lex Fridman.
In his first post on Truth Social, Modi expressed his delight at joining the platform and looked forward to interacting with passionate voices and engaging in meaningful conversations. He accompanied his post with a picture from the 'Howdy Modi' event in Houston, Texas, where he and Trump were seen holding hands in a show of camaraderie.
Trump amplified Modi's wide-ranging discussion on India's civilizational outlook, global issues, and his personal journey by sharing the video link to Modi's conversation with Fridman. Modi acknowledged the gesture and thanked Trump for sharing the podcast.
During the three-hour podcast, Modi spoke about his strong rapport with Trump, emphasizing that their mutual trust remained unshaken even when Trump was out of office. He highlighted how both leaders share a commitment to putting their nations first.
Modi recalled a moment from the 'Howdy Modi' event when Trump broke security protocol to join him for a lap around the stadium. He expressed his appreciation for Trump's courage and trust in him.
Reflecting on the recent assassination attempt on Trump, Modi said that Trump's life was dedicated to his nation and his actions reflected his "America First" spirit. Modi also emphasized his own "Nation First" belief, stating that this shared value is what connects them so well.
