Disney Cruise Lines temporarily cancels all of its trips due to virus

After temporarily canceling all of its trips due to the pandemic, Disney Cruise Lines is preparing to resume operations. The cruise line announced last week that two of its ships will make their return voyages in the United States later this year.

Disney Fantasy and Disney Magic will sail out of Florida in October as ports in Florida to the Bahamas. According to Magic Cruise Line's website, Disney is scheduled for sailing out of Miami on October 28.

The ship will have a series of four-to-five-night Itineraries.

The Disney Fantasy will sail out of Port Canaveral early in the month and depart on 9 October, 2018. These trips could include cruises that span seven nights or longer and would travel to the Bahamas and Mexico, Cruise Hive reports.

As Fox Business previously reported, Disney Cruise Line will be requiring all passengers ages 12 and over to be fully vaccinated for all cruises starting on September 13 with Disney Cruise Line's new approach of vaccinating’.

Guests will need to upload proof of vaccination to the Safe Passage by Inspire website at least 24 hours before the day of the voyage. Guests that don't show proof of vaccination will not be allowed to board the ship.

This rule was implemented to meet the requirements concerning vaccines in the Bahamas.

Guests under 12 will have to show proof of a positive COVID 19 PCR test taken between five days to 24 hours before the scheduled departure of the cruise. If the guest fails to take a PCR test on board, they will have to take COVID free test.
