BRUSSELS, Oct 8 Reuters - The European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on Friday that she was deeply concerned about a Polish court ruling challenging the supremacy of EU treaties and that her executive would do all in its power to ensure the primacy of EU law.
In a statement, EU law has the supremacy over national law, including constitutional provisions, she said.
This is what the Member States of the European Union have signed as members with the EU. We use all the powers that we have under the treaties to ensure this.
