Serb Democrats, PDP ask for recount of votes for Republika president

The Serb Democratic Party SDS and the Party of Democratic Progress PDP are asking the Central Election Commission of BiH CEC BiH to open the bags and recount the votes for the President of the entity Republika Srpska, the National Assembly of the RS and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH. They said they will organize protests in Banja Luka on Thursday because of the brutal election theft.

Jelena Trivi, who was a candidate for the president of the RS, will not give up on the process of ascertaining the true election results.

This is a matter of retailing the electoral will of the citizens for the RS President. There were 35,000 invalid ballots and over 20,000 votes in just three cities.

A candidate in other communities, Jelena Trivi, didn't get a lot of votes. The PDP leader Branislav Borenovi said that the election was a matter of electoral theft of up to 100 thousand votes.

The opposition declared Trivi's victory on Sunday during the election night and after the Central Election Commission said the following morning that Trivi's opponent, SNSD leader Milorad Dodik is in the lead, the PDP responded that they were robbed and would not recognize the election results.

The SNSD camp also celebrated the victory already on the election night, and the confirmation of the leadership of their candidate Milorad Dodik arrived from the CEC the next day.

According to the latest update of the election results, Milorad Dodik has 48.28 percent or 277,703 votes, while opposition candidate Jelena Trivi has 43.39 percent or 249,595 votes.
