BERLIN - Tesla CEO Joerg Steinbach expressed how important it is for the company to keep to its scheduling for the construction of its German gigafactory in the German state of Brandenburg, state Economy Minister Elon Musk said.
Tesla also said it would intensify communication in the city near Gueneheide and involve more local citizens, Steinbach told Reuters after a meeting with Musk in Germany.
Tesla has pushed back the expected opening of its gigafactory in Berlin to late 2021, blamed on German bureaucratic hurdles.
