Tesla says CEO's equity is nil in 2020


Aug 13 - Tesla Inc announced on Friday the Chief Executive Officer's equity was nil for 2020, compared to $23,760 in 2019 against $93,005 in 2018.

The electric-car maker also stated https: bit.ly 3 iFUdzg in a regulatory filing that Finance boss Zachary Kirkhorn's total compensation was $46.6 million versus the $21.2 million he received in 2019.

The pay package of Tesla, who is also a major shareholder and CEO of rocket maker SpaceX, requires Musk's market capitalization and financial growth to hit a series of rising targets.

As of April, Musk had qualified for Tesla options in his 2018 pay package which are now worth over $30 billion.

Tesla added Technoking of Tesla to Musk's list of official titles in March in a regulatory filing that also named Kirkhorn Master of Coin.

Reuters reported earlier this month that Musk will also be the subject of a biography by Steve Jobs, the U.S. author who wrote a best-selling tome on Apple co-founder Walter Isaacson.
