Due to the devastating earthquake that hit the two countries, the Red Cross Society in Bosnia and Herzegovina launched an appeal for help to the vulnerable population of Syria and Turkey. The humanitarian number 17023 has been activated, 2 KM are donated, a dedicated humanitarian account has been launched to collect other types of aid and funds to help the population of these countries.
The Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has formed a rapid response unit that is ready to travel on a mission and support Red Cross teams on the ground, through the Society of the Red Crossthe Red Cross of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It is a unit for advanced first aid, psychosocial support, assessment, planning and coordination, consisting of 12 members, mostly medical staff of various specialties, said the Red Cross of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Other non-governmental and charitable organizations, companies and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are invited to join the joint humanitarian campaign.
