The UAE Delegation at the World Energy Congress

A high-level delegation from the United Arab Emirates participated in the 26th edition of the World Energy Congress, held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The event, co-hosted by the World Energy Council and the Netherlands Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Policy, brought together over 7,000 international energy stakeholders, including prominent speakers and government ministers.

The UAE delegation included Sharif Al Olama, Undersecretary for Energy and Petroleum Affairs at the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, along with representatives from various energy organizations within the UAE. During the event, the UAE National Committee for the World Energy Council was recognized for its significant contributions and positive impact on the energy landscape.

Al Olama engaged in bilateral meetings with energy leaders to explore potential partnerships, learn about innovative research and technologies, and promote investments in sustainable energy solutions. He also visited the ADNOC stand at the congress.
